Plantation / California Shutters in Toronto & the GTA
Plantation shutters, often called California shutters in Ontario, are louvered panels fitted inside or around your window frame. Tilt the louvers for light and privacy, or swing the panels open for a full view. Made in durable composite or vinyl for kitchens and baths, or wood for living spaces, they add lasting value and curb appeal.

What is the difference between California and plantation shutters?
In the GTA the names are used interchangeably for louvered interior shutters. Some suppliers use 'California' for narrower louvers.
Can shutters go on sliding patio doors?
Yes, using bypass or bi-fold panels on a track, or we may recommend vertical blinds or drapery for very wide doors.
