Sheer, Silhouette & Vienna Shades in Toronto & the GTA
Sheer shades (often called Vienna or silhouette-style shades) suspend soft fabric vanes between two sheer layers. Tilt the vanes open for diffused, glowing light and a view, or close them for privacy. They combine the softness of a sheer curtain with the control of a blind, and they are a favourite for living and dining rooms.

Are sheer shades the same as zebra blinds?
No. Zebra blinds use flat alternating bands; sheer shades have soft fabric vanes floating between two sheer layers, giving a softer, more luxurious light.
Do sheer shades give privacy at night?
With vanes closed they give good privacy. For full night-time privacy choose room-darkening vanes.
